We are looking for a Technical Lead with strong Java and SQL expertise to lead a regional data integration team. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing developers across multiple markets, responsible for delivery quality, task planning, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a distributed development team across DACH
- Ensure ETL pipelines and data processing tasks are delivered effectively
- Perform hands-on technical validation and estimations for new initiatives
- Support automation, job troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Review team outputs and support reporting and extract adjustments
- Participate in daily stand-ups, technical planning, and support coordination
Requirements
- Min. 8 years of experience in software engineering and project delivery
- Strong background in Java and MSSQL/MySQL
- Proven team leadership experience in regional/multimarket setups
- Deep knowledge of data integration, troubleshooting, and automation
- Comfortable reviewing legal/delivery documentation and estimating fixed-price projects
- English & German fluency required
- Excellent communication, ownership, and technical decision-making skills
