We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Application Support Engineer and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the telecommunication industry.
Responsibilities:
- Act as L2 for DMS apps built on .NET/COM/C++ (integrating with MF/Java where needed).
- Own triage, resolution, and communication for incidents; escalate to L3 with clear diagnostics.
- Monitor health/SLIs and proactively prevent issues; collect logs and evidence for RCA.
- Support deployments/configuration; keep SOPs/KB current and actionable.
- Contribute to stability and MTTR reduction via task automation and runbook improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–5 years in L2 application support
- Working knowledge of .NET/C++, fundamentals of OOP, and SQL basics.
- ITSM/ITIL exposure (ServiceNow or similar); comfortable with shifts/weekends and on-call.
- Clear written documentation habits; good stakeholder communication.
- German B2+ and English B2+;
- Monitoring/APM (Prometheus/Grafana/App Insights), scripting (PowerShell/Python), Linux shell.
- Deployment tooling and basic networking/Windows Server/IIS knowledge.
- Automotive/DMS domain exposure would be an advantage
