We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Senior Application Support Engineer and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the telecommunication industry.
Responsibilities:
- Act as L3 escalation point for DMS applications built on .NET/COM/C++ (and integrated MF/Java components).
- Diagnose complex incidents, drive RCA, and deliver durable fixes and automation.
- Maintain configs, patches, and coordinated releases across environments; harden performance & stability.
- Improve observability (logs/metrics/traces) and refine runbooks/KB for faster MTTR.
- Collaborate with Dev/QA/SRE/Infra and Security; contribute to post-incident reviews and prevention plans.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support production cutovers.
Requirements
- At least 6–8+ years in L3 application support.
- Strong in .NET/C++/COM, debugging, log analysis, and SQL diagnostics.
- Scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell or Python).
- Incident/problem management and RCA practice under ITIL.
- Enterprise, mission-critical environment experience; clear written documentation.
- German B2+ and English B2+
- Monitoring/APM (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana/App Insights), ServiceNow, deployment tooling.
- Performance engineering and stability hardening; knowledge sharing (KB/runbooks).
- Exposure to Automotive/DMS domain.
