We are looking for team player to fill Senior Windows Kubernetes Engineer position in a dynamic international project.
You can expect:
- Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines for Windows components, focusing on troubleshooting and optimizing pipeline scripts (Shell, PowerShell) and improving test coverage.
- Improve image automation and improve security and compliance posture by reducing manual effort in delivery of security and feature updates.
- Perform kernel debugging and diagnose root causes of system issues for containerized Windows applications on Kubernetes
- Enable and qualify compute and storage features for selected/prioritized New Product Introductions (NPI) by integrating them into GKE’s automation framework and if required make contributions in K8s OSS to make Windows on K8s reliable.
- Thoroughly document all investigation findings, resolutions, and implemented improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in Windows internals, including kernel, storage, debugging, and crash dump analysis, with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex system and performance issues.
- Proven experience in Windows kernel debugging and driver development, including crash dump analysis utilizing tools such as WinDbg.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts on Windows, specifically the Container Network Interface (CNI) model and its implementation in Windows environments
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Working knowledge of the Linux environment.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Shell scripting, with experience in managing, troubleshooting, and enhancing automated build and test (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Communicative English
