We are looking for team player to fill Senior Windows Networking Kubernetes Engineer position in a dynamic international project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines for Windows components, focusing on troubleshooting and optimizing pipeline scripts (Shell, PowerShell).
- Perform kernel debugging and diagnose root causes of network and system issues for containerized Windows applications on Kubernetes, particularly those involving Open vSwitch (OVS) and Antrea.
- Analyze and resolve Windows networking and connectivity performance issues within Kubernetes, leveraging Windows networking tools and commands.
- Thoroughly document all investigation findings, resolutions, and implemented improvements to support engineering teams.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Windows networking internals, including the network stack, packet flow, and common protocols. Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity and performance issues on Windows.
- Proven ability in Windows kernel debugging and Windows driver development, including crash dump analysis related to network drivers using tools such as WinDbg.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes networking concepts on Windows, including the Container Network Interface (CNI) model and its implementation in Windows environments.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Shell scripting, with experience in managing, troubleshooting, and enhancing automated build and test (CI/CD) pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Open vSwitch (OVS) on Windows, including the kernel dataplane.
- Considerable experience with Antrea.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Working knowledge of the Linux environment.
