We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Senior Product Owner and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product backlog for one or more DMS workstreams; translate business needs into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Drive discovery and refinement with stakeholders: dealership operations, IT, integration partners/vendors, and engineering teams.
- Prioritize work based on business value, risk, dependencies, and operational impact; manage scope and sequencing across releases.
- Define and align product outcomes and KPIs (e.g., lead time, quality, incident reduction, adoption), ensuring measurable value delivery.
- Coordinate requirements across modules (Sales/Service/Parts/Accounting) and ensure end-to-end process coherence.
- Support incident-driven prioritization (production issues, RCA outcomes) and incorporate preventive improvements into the roadmap.
- Ensure alignment across Dev/QA/SRE/Support for release readiness, UAT coordination, and go-live support.
- Facilitate ceremonies and collaboration in an Agile setup (refinement, planning, reviews) and maintain strong communication cadence.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager in enterprise software delivery.
- Strong capability in backlog ownership: user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, dependency management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Proven experience with complex business workflows and multi-team delivery in Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- Solid understanding of system integrations and data flows (APIs, batch processes, external interfaces) sufficient to work effectively with architects and engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including ability to manage conflicting priorities and drive decisions.
- German C1+ and English B2+.
Prefererd:
- Automotive / dealership domain exposure, ideally Dealer Management Systems (Sales/F&I, Service & Warranty, Parts/Inventory, Dealer Accounting).
- Experience with enterprise integrations (DMS & CRM, DMS & OEM, DMS & Finance/Accounting).
- Familiarity with UAT management, release coordination, and cross-functional go-live readiness.
- Certification: PSPO/CSPO (or equivalent).
- Experience in regulated or high-availability environments (SLA/SLO driven).
- Experience working with ITSM/support contexts (incidents, change management) is in production-heavy environments.
