We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Operations Engineer - Support Line 2 and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the medical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain strict adherence to change control, incident, and problem management processes in accordance with ITIL standards.
- Prepare, distribute, and update technical documentation related to medical devices, including networking procedures, device specifications, user guides, and runbooks.
- Monitor and support production systems using cloud-native and third-party tools to ensure optimal system availability and compliance.
- Write and optimize SQL/Postgres queries to diagnose issues and analyze data quality.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts, implement temporary workarounds, document findings thoroughly, and recommend proactive solutions.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in an L2 Application Support role.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in cloud-based environments with extensive knowledge in operations.
- Proficiency in Linux, OS administration, networking, databases, virtual machines, containerized applications, and API-based applications.
- Experience with MS Azure, including App Services, App Gateways, Key Vaults, Functions, PostgreSQL databases, VNETs, Log Analytics, and App Insights. Preferred: Microsoft
- Knowledge of ITIL and experience in managing service management and executing surrounding processes.
- Skills in proactive monitoring, incident response, and technical documentation.
- Implementation of proactive monitoring techniques, incident response, and creation of technical runbooks.
- Experience with Azure Native Monitoring Tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, AppInsights, LogAnalytics, Dashboards, Grafana, Zabbix).
- Ability to write SQL/Postgres queries for data and problem analysis.
- Previous experience working with medical device software and/or FMC software.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills in a global setting.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
