Job Description

ITMAGINATION, now part of the Virtusa Group helps its Clients by becoming a true extension of their software and data development capabilities. Through the readily set up, comprehensive, and self-governing teams, we let our Clients focus on their business while we make sure that their software products and data tools scale up accordingly and with outstanding quality.

We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of QA Test Engineer to participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the high-tech industry.

You can expect:

  • Distributed Test Lab Infrastructure Management: Set up, configure, and maintain host machines and their associated network configurations for on-premises device testing.
  • Device Under Test (DUT) Preparation & Integration: Prepare DUTs for integration into the test environment, including enabling developer modes, configuring debug interfaces, and flashing appropriate test images.
  • Hardware Connectivity: Ensure proper physical connection and verification of hardware debug adapters (e.g., Servos) and DUTs within the lab setup. Troubleshoot connectivity issues (e.g., hardware detection, network).


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware testing or lab environments, preferably involving device-under-test setups.
  • Strong proficiency with Linux command-line interface and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with hardware debug adapters or specialized hardware interfaces for device control.
  • Knowledge of test orchestration tools and command-line interfaces for test execution.
  • Understanding of distributed task execution systems or device management platforms.
  • Scripting experience (e.g., Python) for automating lab tasks.
  • Familiarity with gRPC services used within test infrastructure.
  • Fluent communication in English (B2+)
