We are looking for team player to fill Business & Data Analyst position in a dynamic international project. You can expect:
- Analyze, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, or reporting solutions.
- Understand and map processes across Sales, Finance, and Contract Management areas.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams (IT, Data Engineering, Development).
- Evaluate business needs in Salesforce (SFDC), finance/sales applications, and other systems to ensure alignment with data flows and reporting requirements.
- Support business stakeholders in defining KPIs, metrics, and reporting expectations.
- Conduct impact assessments for changes across applications and data pipelines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in business processes, data usage, and system functionality.
- Perform detailed data analysis to support business decisions, process improvements, and root-cause investigations.
- Validate data outputs, perform reconciliation testing, and ensure accuracy of business data.
- Participate in designing and validating data models used for business reporting.
- Support creation of Power BI dashboards by defining business rules, metrics, and data definitions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers on SQL queries, ETL workflows (SSIS), and integration points—focusing on functional correctness and business logic.
- Monitor data quality issues, define remediation plans, and improve data governance across business applications.
Requirements
- Experience working with Salesforce (SFDC) (data structures, objects, integrations, reporting needs).
- Strong understanding of Sales, Finance, and Contract Management processes.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams on databases, integrations, and business applications.
- Ability to read and understand SQL queries (T-SQL, MySQL) to validate data and support investigations.
- Understanding of relational databases and business data schemas.
- Ability to perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI from a business perspective (defining metrics and KPIs, validating dashboards,understanding data models, relationships, and hierarchies)
- Familiarity with ETL concepts (ideally SSIS) and end-to-end data workflows.
- Ability to define business rules that guide ETL logic and transformations.
- Experience working with on‑premise database environments (SQL Server, MySQL).
- Ability to work across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments from a business testing/validation perspective.
