We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Business Analyst and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the banking industry.
Responsibilities:
- You will define the business logic of a BigData system to achieve financial regulatory requirements.
- You will act as an expert across multiple projects, guiding the teams and conducts business research and analysis tasks as necessary
- You will act as a bridge between Business, IT and Data teams, facilitating discussions and ensuring alignment of expectations.
- You will present analysis results and proposed solutions to senior stakeholders in a clear and structured way
- You will take ownership of topics end-to-end, from investigation through solution validation and stakeholder sign-off.
- You will use SQL to analyze data, create/recreate reports/solutions according to the specifications of the requirements agreed with the users
- You will use SQL to validate data quality of implemented solutions
You will create competitive environment to set high standards, encourages and supports continual improvements within the team
- You will create Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) and Functional Specification Documentation (FSDs)
- You will use Scrum methodology, and be part of a high performance team
- You will document your solutions in Santander’s tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM
Requirements
- Significant Business Analysis or Product Management experience (software, 3+ years, multiple organizations)
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills – ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in working in SCRUM or other Agile framework
- University background oriented to financial/business
- Excellent knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Excel at a medium user level
- Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
- Understanding of banking and/or financial services industry and/or shared services organizations
- Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills
- Very good command of English (at least B2+)
Preferred qualifications:
- Financial products in the wholesale banking environment (Fxs, bonds, equities, etc).
- Basic knowledge of Big Data/spark/cloud environments.
- Spanish will be a plus
