We are looking for team player to fill Project Manager position in a dynamic international project for the customer from ilottery industry.
The candidate:
• Manages assigned technical projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
• Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
• Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
• Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
• Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
• Facilitates gathering and validation of project requirements.
• Develops and maintains project performance databases that tracks overall progress and accomplishment of specific milestones.
• Ensures all parts of an assigned projects are processed, organized, and progressing according to predetermined timelines and deliverable dates. • Regularly communicates with customers/clients to arrange meetings, confirm project schedules, and discuss any project problems.
• Coordinates internal and external resources scheduled, ensures projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets.
• Develops and communicates detailed specifications for implementation. Negotiates plans and timeframes, ensures that clients understand the anticipated results.
• Analyzes project progress and, when necessary, adapts timelines to achieve maximum benefit.
• Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project management documentation.
• Analyzes risks and provides regular updates to Senior Management regarding projects status and any problems or potential problems. Takes proactive steps to minimize delays in delivery
Requirements
• Minimum three years management experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with customers
• Knowledge of software development and deployement industry standards
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors and management
• Organizational skills and time management skills to keep projects on track to the finish
• Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
• Experience working with cross-functional agile teams.
• Proficient use of project management software (e.g. JIRA).
• Excellent knowledge of Agile techniques and artefacts (e.g., Definition of ready/done, user stories, epics, features, backlog, splitting stories, etc).
• Experience creating proactive self-organizing teams.
• A continuous improvement attitude.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience of delivering in an environment where multiple development teams are involved
• Proficient in Polish language
Nice to have:
• Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition
• Professional Scrum Master Certification from accredited intuition
• IT Technical background (Architect, Engineer, QA, ecc.) is considered a plus
