Job Description

We are looking for team player to fill Junior Manual QA Engineer position in a dynamic international project for the customer from the Tech area.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Regression Testing: Execute regression test cases across multiple Desktop platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux) and ChromeOS (CrOS).

  • Bug Management: File, track, and verify bug fixes. Document all results clearly to ensure a smooth transition and full transparency for other teams involved.

  • Feature Validation: Perform new feature testing and provide timely, precise approvals (sign-offs) for launches.

  • Release Cycle Participation: Actively support release cycles, including testing of last-minute fixes, feature sign-offs, and final approval checks.

  • Technical Analysis: Use basic technical knowledge to identify suspect commits (CLs) responsible for regressions or system crashes.

  • Process Improvement: Work closely with the team to improve testing processes, optimize test case coverage, and ensure overall efficiency.




Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in similar position

  • OS Administration: Profound knowledge of Win10/11 administration, including OS deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • QA Fundamentals: Strong understanding of the Testing and Bug lifecycles.

  • Environment: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multitasking with precision.

  • Platform Versatility: Experience in manual testing across diverse operating systems (Win, Mac, Linux, CrOS).
