We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Software Quality Assurance Lead and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the iLottery area.
You can expect:
Own and continuously improve the quality strategy, test approach, and QA best practices across projects.
Review functional and technical requirements to ensure testability, coverage, and risk awareness.
Define, prepare, and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test documentation.
Coordinate and execute manual and automated testing according to project priorities and delivery timelines.
Collaborate closely with the Automation Lead on test automation initiatives, including framework standards and adoption.
Oversee defect management, test reporting, and quality metrics using JIRA and XRAY (or similar tools).
Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC/STLC.
Mentor, support, and provide technical guidance to junior and midlevel QA engineers.
Lead QA activities for distributed and multilocation teams.
Support test data strategy definition and ensure proper test data preparation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
5+ years of experience in a QA Lead / Test Lead role.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
Proven experience defining and executing test strategies and test plans.
Solid experience with manual testing and strong exposure to test automation.
Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Experience with Linux environments.
Hands-on experience using JIRA, XRAY, or similar test management and defect tracking tools.
Experience leading QA activities within distributed or remote teams.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Good command of English (B2 or higher), written and spoken.
