We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Senior Java Software Developer and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the gaming and betting area. This is a fully remote project.
You can expect:
- Designing and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
- Developing user interfaces
- Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications
- Preparing and producing releases of software components
- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Requirements
- Experience in Java development (min. 5 years)
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications for Java platform
- Good understanding of JVM
- Good understanding of OOP and common design patterns
- Experience in developing highly scalable REST microservices
- Practical experience in TDD
- Good English skills (written and spoken)
Nice to have:
- Experience in Frontend development (JavaScript, HTML CSS, React)
- Understanding of Distributed systems
- Hands on SpringBoot experience
- Hands on Linux experience
- DevOps skills (we are using Terraform, AWS, Puppet, Jenkins)
