We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Tech Lead (Java) and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the gaming and betting area. This is a fully remote project.
You can expect:
- Leading and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, quality and continuous improvement.
- Driving delivery of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborating closely with Product, Architecture and other stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with business goals.
- Owning the technical direction of the team, including design decisions, architecture and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Java development (typically 5+ years)
- Previous experience in a technical leadership role (e.g. Tech Lead, Team Lead or Senior Engineer mentoring others)
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications for the Java platform
- Solid understanding of JVM, OOP and common design patterns
- Experience building highly scalable REST microservices
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD and engineering best practices (e.g. TDD, code reviews)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Very good English (written and spoken)

- Experience with distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Frontend experience (JavaScript, React)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
- DevOps mindset and tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Puppet)
- Experience scaling teams or working in high-growth environments
