The goal of the project was to ensure that Luma's new platform will be more responsive and easier to scale than their current solution.
Luma wanted to release a Minimum Viable Product that ultimately will replace their current platform. In the meantime, they had to make sure that the products their clients are currently using are up to date and there won’t be any breakdowns.
ITMAGINATION stepped in as a reliable software development partner who could rewrite Luma's application and support their internal development team's daily work as well as build out the new platform MVP.
We scaled up a software development team with all roles required and started to work on Luma's brand-new platform. Since our team is experienced in working on similar fintech products, they also work on maintaining and improving Luma's current application which is in use by their clients on a day-to-day basis.
Currently, the development team includes nine people. Their roles vary from Software Architect, Full-stack Developers, Java Developers, Angular Developers, React Developers, and a Project Manager.
The project is managed jointly between the Luma and ITMAGINATION team, which ensures everyone is aligned and full transparency is achieved.
Our team was able to understand and address Luma's business challenges and set up a development team quickly to make sure feature development is fast. The team has integrated well with Luma's own internal developer teams and became productive quickly. New feature development is much faster and the current platform is more stable.
