  • Solid basics in math, algorithms and one programming language
  • Occasional need for support in delivering technical tasks
  • Perspective to become a self driven specialist in no more than two years
  • Effectively looking up information to solve problems
  • Basic SQL scripts
  • Accepting tasks from data science manager such as ‘clean’, 'preprocess' or 'compare' data
  • Ability to create new features from existing data
  • Ability to create visualizations for model accuracy

  • Knowledge of algorithms (forecasting, classification, unsupervised, assessment measures, selection of models for a business problem, boosting, random forest) and ability to choose proper one for specific problems
  • Understanding of data architecture and its implications
  • Knowledge of data science packages (i.e Pandas)

  • Ability to verify candidates in the hiring process
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders, what is the problem, and why is data science a possible solution?
  • Work with product managers, other stakeholders, and develop your own tasks, roadmap, and process
  • Obtain data from APIs/SQL, preprocess data, feature engineer, model comparison, deploy model
